Instruction

Tip of the month: Now that you have had a chance to hit some balls and hopefully play a few rounds, lets talk about how we can get your season off to a great start.  It is still early in the season, so lets work on tempo and some basic fundamentals.  The grip is a great place to start. Remember no matter what grip you use if you're a right handed player the v or line created between your thumb and index finger of your left hand should point between your chin and right shoulder. You should also work on alignment.  Lets start by putting two clubs on the ground so that they resemble railroad tracks.  Place a ball in between each club and work on setting your body parallel to to the two clubs.  Lets hit some balls from this position, which gives us a great target line to swing the club down.  Keep the tempo at a pace at which you can control the club swinging it down the target line. Good luck this season, and if you would like some personal instruction, give your local PGA professional a call and set up a lesson to get things going for you in the right direction.
